From Russia without Recycling…

We had a special visitor today at our recycling facility from RUSSIA!!!! Vyacheslav (on right) is a Vice-Mayor in charge of housing and utilities in our (Duluth’s) sister city of Petrozavodsk, Russia. They are about to implement a pilot recycling program in one area of their city. He wanted to see a commercial sorting operation to consider if something similar would be useful there in his hometown. Also pictured Dan Hartel (Center) and Dan Rau (left)
